SAFRAN Aleat had the pleasure to present on June the 6th 2016 the new service entitled "Biometric Security in Notary Services" at a ceremony held at the Ministry of Justice, as an important milestone between this Institution, the National Chamber of Notaries and Aleat L.T.D.
Part of the Launch of Biometric ID card Service, were Mr. Ylli MANJANI, Minister of Justice, Mr. Michael GRANOFF, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Albanian-American Enterprise (AAEF), Mrs. Mimoza SADUSHAJ, President of the National Chamber of Notaries, and Mr. Jean-Alain JOUAN, Chief Executive Officer of SAFRAN Aleat.
Through this new Project, Albanian Notary Registry, which is an automated system management of notary acts and their processes, will be able to integrate with eALEAT Platform.
The aim of this cooperation with eALEAT Platform is to improve the Albanian Notary Registry in terms of access to secure information for citizens bringing transparency in the notary acts.
Registration of parties to a notary act will be done through the Biometric ID Card. This system guarantees to notary the identity of the citizen through verification of their biometric data.
Thanks to the eALEAT platform the process of identification by a notary will be done in a very short time and in a 100% safe way through fingerprints that are unique to each individual.
Throughout 2016 will be completed the process of equipment with biometric reader of Notary offices and identification service usage with biometric ID Cards. The notary service with biometric verification began by 20 new Notary offices on June the 6th 2016. Later on, it will be followed by 120 other offices, continuing with 100 during the month of October and it will end up in all 460 offices in December 2016.
