On June 30, 2022, Aleat Company in cooperation with the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of the Interior, successfully completed the process of opening the application office for the Biometric Documents service at the Albanian Embassy in Ottawa.
The Passport Service has started at the Embassies since 2011 (at the Albanian Embassy in Athens) and has been progressively expanded to 15 Consular offices in June 2022 (Albanian Embassy in Ottawa).
Currently, the service of providing biometric documents for Albanian citizens is possible in 9 Embassies and 6 Consulates of the Republic of Albania listed below:
